Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

ShieldKin is a wristband, an optional ring and a mobile app that watch over a person’s health readings and tell the family who look after them when something looks wrong. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have. ShieldKin is still in development and testing; this policy describes the service as it runs today and will be updated before launch if anything changes.

Who we are

ShieldKin, the developer named on our app store listings. Questions about your data: privacy@shieldkin.com.

What we collect

There are no advertising or analytics trackers in the app or on this website, and this website sets no cookies.

Why we use it

We process health data only with your explicit consent, which you give in the app. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account. We never sell data and never use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Our servers are in Germany, in the European Union. Some providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account, health details, readings, alerts, devices, circle links and consents are deleted straight away. Security records are kept to protect the service and meet legal duties; they do not contain your readings. See how to delete your account.

Your choices and rights

Security

Connections are encrypted. Alerts from the wristband are digitally signed so they cannot be faked. Downloading your data or deleting your account needs you to confirm it is you. Access to health data is recorded.

Children

ShieldKin is meant for adults.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and its date, and tell you in the app about important changes.
